63 split window is my pic. Love the Corvette. Always wanted a mid year. Best Corvette body style in my opinion.

Welcome aboard Tim. I added pictures of my 68 grille. The pic in the woods is when I first bought it in 1988. I was third owner and besides a repaint it was in pretty original condition. The pic in the driveway is much later after body work was started. I sold that car years ago and these are the only two pics I found of the grille. My 68 was also a base model 327 210hp 07C. I hope these pics help. And definitely keep coming back to this site as the guys on this site are very knowledgeable.

Joe welcome aboard and good luck on your search. The 69 is my favorite year Camaro. I have had mine for many years sitting and waiting for me to get around to fixing it so I don't blame you for wanting a running and driving hot rod. They're out there. Be patient and spend a lot of time on this site as these guys are the most knowledgeable Camaro experts around.

I posted a pic of my left quarter because I'm curious if it has the factory contours you're talking about. From what I can tell my RH quarter was replaced but I think my LH is original. Can I have your opinion please?

You're probably right I hadn't thought about body work. I have found evidence of damage.

That's gonna look awesome in your engine bay. I love old Mustangs too. Actually I love all muscle cars. My favorites are Camaro and Corvette. Is that going in your red 70 pictured?

I bought my Camaro in 1987 so the pulley has been there since some time before that.

Yeah Kurt I just saw that today under the concept cars section of this site. I don't know where on the internet I saw this Camaro listed as the 1st SS396.
