General Discussion / Re: owner history?
December 13, 2014, 06:39:00 PM

The state gave me two of mine over the years, both Z28's, complete right back to the dealer invoices and MSO's. I researched many other cars over the years, and really hate the fact that the State quit providing the old histories.
I agree, I have a 1969 Z28. I know thru my NCIS report that it was ordered by a dealership in Grand Rapids Mi., and I also know of prior ownership in Wisconsin. I've tried getting info from Wisconsin's DMV but to no avail.  Frustrating

General Discussion / 1969 z28 coil wire terminal
November 22, 2014, 05:57:49 PM
I noticed that my coil wire terminal is bad on my 69 Z28. Where can I find an original wire terminal. It's in the shape of the letter F and has two wires connected to it.

General Discussion / 1969 camaro windshield washer pump
October 22, 2014, 07:09:52 PM
After years of not having a working windshield washer pump (my piston seal was worn out) I finally got it working again ! iI wanted to rebuild my original pump and there is no one that sells a complete rebuild kit for this pump, the only rebuildalbe part that is sold is the tri-port o-ring seal. I ended up buying an Anco pump from RockAuto ($30.88), took apart the pump, removed the new piston and used it in my original pump. My pump works like brand new !

My car was repainted in 1980 but as far as I know the interior was left alone

My 1969 camaro has seat belts most dated 19 A, one 18 A and one dated 28 A. I have an 9 A built car, I know the seat belts are dated early for my car and I don't think they were changed but do you guys think that the car could of be assembled at the factory with these belts?

Being that my engine was cast on the 22nd and assembled on the 25th of August, wouldn't it be a stretch that the H-25th alternator could make it to my engine that fast?

I did have that date written wrong, it is 9 H 25. I don't know how to post a pic of it on here, I'd like to to get an opinion on it.

I'm looking at a 837 alt thats dated H 25 9. My car was built 9 A 9 and the motor is stamped H 25. Would this alternator be too late for my car?

What would cause my 69 Camaro to backfire? First time it happened when I was starting the car and today it happened when I was accelerating on the highway.

Just checked , my rear lap belts tags both read Robbins 3910 40k7. I think they have been changed.
