And how original do you think their plates look. I have one California plate for my '67 and thought I might get one made to match.  Not sure if they are good enough to pass by the DMV as the second plate.

the car was a late 67 build, June 67, so really I should be using late U's or early V's, but a 67 is a 67, so if I find nice late T's I'll use them. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Just wanted to make sure I could buy some "T" plates as well as "U" plates for the July '09 YOM rule changes.

Wondering if any California folks out there have a 1967 model year vehicle with original plates starting with a late Txx - xxx number. Most have U's and early V's.

casting number is: 3927184, with a GM-5 pattern if that helps at all.

OK, I have a 67 RS that has a clicking sound (about every 4 seconds) from a small black box (1 inch x 2 inches) with rounded corners that is mounted on the lower lip of the passenger side front fender (right in front of the wheel well). There is a matching unit right next to it. Must be some type of switch or solenoid. Not able to open thw front grill doors, but when I open manually, the doors will close when the ignition turns off. I do have a picture of this unit, but is too large to post!!!  Could always e-mail someone if they are willing to take a look.

Looking to identify the part and see where I can get a replacement.

If you mean the small bowtie on the back of the mirror, then yes they were on 67's. I have a June built 67 RS with dual mirrors, both with bowties on them.

How difficult is it to replace the headlight switch on a 67 Camaro RS. Do I need to pull the dashboard or can I get to it from behind the dash? Thanks.

I believe it was the regular size. Had a 1960's/70's polyglass spare when I bought it.

I have a 67 convertible that had a vey faded and worn out BLUE deck lid sticker. Pretty sure this is the original color. Look at Rick's Camaros, I think they sell the blue one.
