Would  p8r11 work or to late?

I will try to see what I can do about restoring it mine is exact in photo except ss in the middle and black.  If any one has any good referances for wheel restoration let me know

I have a 68 camaro with a special interior pkg. the ss steering wheel has the two horn buttons and is ribbed at the bottom half, i have never seen ribbed only smooth.  It has 2 cracks in it, should I have them repaired and put a band-aid on it or try to locate another one, ribbed or no ribbed.  Also,  is this the correct wheel for the car?   

so if I was to look for a close to original fit muncie trans, with the #'s from the car, motor and rear end all being in the third week in the month of oct. I know now the casting# should be 3925660 but what would be the stamped # to be close to exact trans that went in the car?

So it is just a coinsiedence that the trans is the same month and week as the rest of the drivetrain,  you dont think they could have just used a 67 camaro munci casing for a 68 camaro. The casing is casted 3885010 and the vertical stamp is P1021.

I found a original 1968 rs/ss camaro that is been sitting for a long time and is 90% original and am getting ready to restore it. All the numbers match on the partial vin for the motor with a date of 1019MS, and cowl tag is 10D.  The rear end has a BS 1019 #.  Now the question, the casting on the munce trans is for a 67 but the stamped # on it is P1021, can this still be the original trans it looks to me like trans has no reason not to be original.
