Mine were from my 68, I guess I didn't look at the year of the car in the original post

Mine is aprox 14" to 14 1/2" from the end of the quarter panel. Hard to tell for sure with the antenna still on it, and  aprox 2" from the inside edge of the trunk lid. Very similar to the pictures posted. Also if it were to be 19" or so from the end of the quarter panel you would have little or no contact with a spoiler, which is why I thought you couldn't have both options from the factory.

I have the front sheet metal and inner fenders hung on my car right now,and have left all the bolts loose, Does anyone have a proceedure that works for them with the least trouble?

I would like to clean them up but was thinking they would shatter

Has anyone had any luck softening up the the seat belt retractor covers when they are brittle? If so, what did you use?

My 68 has large front bumper guards that clamp to the bumper, and at the bottom bolt to the sheet metal of the car, like in this pic on e-bay  # 330056115326 .  I have had other people say that they should be the smaller ones attaching only to the bumper, What is correct ?   

Don't ask me why but once I had put a  wrong voltage regulator on my 67, It would start up and stay running,but when I turned the key off the gen light came on but the engine would not shut off. a new/correct regulator is all that was changed to correct it.   ODD

Checker auto, auto zone, pepboys all had the wrong one listed in their books,  got the correct one at napa

my car has a factory rear antenna, and my spoiler hits it, I don't think you could get both options from the factory.

I have been told the inner fenders and firewall of my 68 should be a semi gloss or satin black. Would someone be so kind as to give me a brand of paint and paint # that has worked well for you?

I have an engine I need some help decoding, any help would be great.   on the front pad it has vIII4mf    On the back it has 3892657 and also k46   also on the back of the block behind where the fly wheel would be is   h 17       and 944       657
