I bought my first 69 Z-28 used in 72, seller gave me the recall letter. Took it to my local dealer and they couldn't install cables because it had headers installed. They contacted zone office and they had them install new mounts. Must have been my lucky day.

Thank-you someone must have just thrown it in with the box of parts that came with the car.

Our son received this carburetor with his 67 Camaro. Don't know much about Quadrajets, couldn't find those numbers on forum info. Can anyone decode for us?

Filling my cooling system on my 69 Z-28. Fresh engine no water in jackets, original radiator recored by Glen-ray. Manual says 16 qts. I have 14 in and it's full. Bled at upper heater hose even jacked front up and bled again. Might be water in heater core don't think it could be that much. Ideas?

Thanks for the info I'll check it out. Still looking for the finish on spark plug wire loom brackets. The ones that bolt to the rear of the intake manifold.

Yes I typed in the wrong side on the PCV pipe I meant right side valve cover 90 degree pipe to hose that connects to air cleaner.

I have the original spark plug wire brackets (the stands that bolt to intake manifold) for my car. They've been painted orange in the past, what was the finish originally? Also the PCV elbow pipe in the left valve cover, semi-gloss black?

Did you mean Quick Performance? My son is looking for a housing, was going to have him check it out.

Thanks for the info I'll check them out. I'm in Pacific Northwest haven't found anyone near me yet. Cost is not a huge factor with-in reason, just don't want to have more issues.

Had the misfortune of cracking one of my original 302 heads(crack in combustion chamber). Was wondering if anyone has experience with a rebuilder that can do a reliable repair?

Not looking to pay the huge dollars for the assembly line replacement. Just wanted to purchase current AC or aftermarket (Fram, Standard, Wix etc.) with the proper valving and flow rate, if there is one available.

My son has a 67 that had add on air removed had similar hole in firewall. I always assumed it was for the hoses.
