on a 69 camaro i am reading there was a  first & second design pad what was the differance and when did the second design come into production

i have seen the  28 on the emblems in white and silver what is correct

trying to find some info on dealer code 646 and zone number 16 think the zone  16 is charlotte nc but cant find anything on the dealer

working on a 2 owner un restored 1969 z28 the build date on the car is 06A the distributor is date 8 J 9  i have heard distributors can go back pretty far

is there a difference between a disc brake and drum brake subframe on a 69 camaro also is the  68 camaro  frame  the same

should  all  5 wheels be the same date or can they be different  dates but in the same week of production

HOW FAR BACK CAN A DATE CODE GO  LOOKING AT A 06A CAR AND IT HAS A VERY EARLY APRIL TRANS DATE  I THOUGHT THEY WHERE CLOSER TO THE BUILD OF THE CAR

I KNOW THE REAREND HOUSINGS WHERE CAST BUY EATON BUT WHERE THEY ASSEMBLED THERE OR WAS THAT DONE AT THE GM FACTORY

I HAVE A EARLY BUILD CAMARO  12 BOLT AND IT LOOKS LIKE THE AXLE CODE AND BUILD DATE WHERE NOT GANG STAMPED BUT INDIVIDUALLY STAMPED  WAS THAT POSSABLE

on a 69 Camaro hurst shifter where the shift rods attached to the shifter and shift levers  with a cotter pin or a snap in clip

on a early build 3 week of sept 68 where is the small wire off the negative battery cable mounted  to is it  the fender or the core support

on  aluminum  intake  engines where the lift hooks natural steel or zinc plated 

ON A EARLY BUILD SEPT OF 68  3 WEEK  WAS THE SMALL GROUND WIRE OFF THE BATTERY CABLE GROUNED TO THE PASSANGER FENDER OR THE CORE SUPPORT

I am being told there was a early style hurst shifter and handell for early built  1969 Camaros is that correct or are they all the same

ok whats the trick to getting the correct style hood pad clips to stay in on 69 Camaro  using the molded pad 

not sure where to post this  , looking at buying a 69 Camaro and the original p o p does not have any original owners name info printed on the back side it has the dealer info stamped on it but no owner info how common is that  just thought was a red flag

was there a different style hurst shifter on the very early built  (sept of 68 ) 69 Camaro with the hurst  4 speed shifter

was the driver side smog tube on a early 3 rd week of   sept 68 built 1969  Z different than the late cars

I have a 68 Camaro 396 with a ce block how do you tell the build date the casting number is C-1-8   the stamp on the front pad is CE956908  the build date on the trim   tag is 4th week of march
