Is it known what the "production date" on NCRS docs represents; e.g., beginning or end of production on the Fisher side, beginning or end of production on the Chevrolet side, final assembly or perhaps shipping date?

It's hard to be sure, but I agree with group/7, it looks to like the header emblem cutout is smaller than on production Z's.

I can't count how many times I have looked at pictures of the prototype Z, but I never noticed that it had a bow tie outside mirror. I always thought they were service parts only. Maybe that's because it was a pre production car?
