Years ago I purchased a set of nice clean core bumpers for my '67. Recently I noticed upon closer inspection , the front is actually a '68. I was planning to have them rechromed, can I just weld up the 2 extra license bracket holes and drill the outer lower holes and "make" a '67 bumper out of a '68? The chrome guys  would finish out the welds.

Messaged the vendor "427 King" on the obvious ,  no response.

I've seen several complaints about other "prominent" vendors' shady practices lately (Made in USA stickers over "made in taiwan labels", continuously out of stock on a part so they can sell  "house" version,  advertising high quality part and sending crap, etc)

Between that and all of the scam cars out there, it's really discouraging.

the numbers stamped next to to626mw are 7n249050 block casting date is 0? 23 7 ,head casting numbers are e 19 7 on both heads , exhaust manifold 3909880 date f 19 7 and 3909878 is e 19 7 hope this helps thanks Gary.

I have an 07B car, 6th day of production.  Was week 2 the last week of production or was there a 3rd week in July of 67 in Van Nuys?

My 67 car was rear-ended in its previous life and the quarters, tail panel, and rails were damaged.  They don't look too bad but should be replaced to make things right.  Would a steel jig be recommended or could I do it without if reference points measure to spec?  Any jigs available on West Coast?
