Maintenance / Rear turn signal
December 28, 2012, 10:26:59 AM
Took my car out for a short ride yesterday. Right rear turn signal was not working. Replaced the bulb and didn't fix it. Both filaments are lite when the turn signal switch is on. Any suggestions? Flasher? I just throwing it out there because I don't wont to spend alot of time chasing it down in 30 degree weather.  No heat in the garage.

Thanks

I see this car is back on ebay. I know this car and it has an Original GM Crossram set up on it and a Real GM JL8 rearend bought from Rick's First Gen. The car was a US Camaro Gold winner when Allen restored it but has since had many parts replaced on it. Gone are the Smog, Chambered Stainless exhaust, Gm Transistorized Ignition, YH wheels and Wide Tread tires . The seller on Ebay supposedly has the Smog set up. This would make someone a really nice car with some fluffing. There's been talk of a fake Trim Tag. The Original was removed and replaced for the rotisserie restoration in Mid Ninety's .

On my 69 Z/28 the valve cover grommets seep some oil. These are the correct covers with GM grommets. Anyone have a fix for this?

July 01, 2012, 09:06:40 AM
I have a 1969 Burnished Brown Z/28. I was wondering if the math guru's could break the 2.5 percent and give me an estimate on how many Z/28's were this color?

Thanks

Im looking for leaf springs for my 69 Z/28. I've heard good and bad about Eaton Springs. I also heard someone with a COPO in the Nebraska area was making them too.

I have a rear main leaking and was wondering if it's easier just to pull the engine or can the pan come off if the engine is loose and jacked high enough?

Maintenance / 69 Dist, Vacuum advance
November 26, 2011, 02:43:13 PM
Hey Camaro enthusiast. I'm having trouble with the vacuum advance when I connect it. The car runs fine disconnected and plugged. Set the timing and connect it it shoots the idle way up . The I adjust the idle down and and bleep the throttle and it very slow to return to idle. Both the Distributor and the carb have been rebuilt by very reputable people (but not the same) .

Any Idea's

Any Ideas?

I was going to change the gears in 69 and was wondering with a E-70-15 tire what RPM the engine would turn at 55 MPH and 70 MPH with a 4.11 ratio.
