General Discussion / What is this fuel pump ?
December 26, 2019, 11:42:22 AM
Merry Xmas and Happy holidays  to everyone. I am going to sell this pump from my fathers collection and I am confused about what I am reading. There seems to be some conflicting pumps and numbers ! I read a thread about these pumps but it didn't say exactly what this pump is.This is a NOS new AC 40731 . Is it for the ZL-1 ? Did it replace the original ? Is it for the copo,or Corvette ?
As always you guys are the experts. Thank you in advance .

The car I am doing is a complete mess and I need to replace the firewall and the dash. Is there a place to buy the factory rivets and how do I go about documenting what the body shop is doing ? The car is a real X77 car and if he goes to sell it some day I don't want him to have problems ! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Emo

General Discussion / Quick Question
March 16, 2019, 07:35:52 PM
Has there ever been a 1969 Z-28 with a fiberglass Cowl Hood or any glass hood .. The reason I am asking is a just looked at 2 super nice Z-28,both had the cross ram on them and they both had glass hoods. I never remember seeing a Camaro with a stock glass hood but I have been wrong before .  Thank you in advance.

General Discussion / Working on a Deluxe interior
January 19, 2019, 11:53:26 AM
Hi everyone, Has anyone worked on installing a new deluxe interior ? My problem is installing the moldings on the door panels. You have put holes in order to install the moldings. You know if you go near them with a drill bit it will catch the carpet and you'll have a mess on your hands. I was thinking about heating up a awl and pushing it threw. Any suggestions would greatly appreciated. Thank you Emo

Hi everyone,I just started taking apart a 69 Z only to find out I believe are aftermarket fenders, inner panels and hood. The owner wants to do it right so I am hunting for NOS. I am no expert on body panels but I can remember something about marks on the fenders or something. What would be reasonable for a set of fenders with extensions or a ZL1 hood ? I found 1 set of fenders for 6k ! I almost fell out of my chair. As always thank you for all your help. If anyone knows who may have or can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thank you Emo

I have a 1968 Camaro SS 396/375 that I bought in 1975 but I have never had the stock wheels and tires on the car.It has power disc brakes, the 4 piston cal on the front. I bought it from the orig owner and he asked me if I wanted the original wheels and tires and I said no. What a idiot! Hey I was 19 and my first car but at least I did take the the original SS hood because he had a glass L88 hood on the car. I know there is a round tag on the inside of the glove box door but the car is in storage and hard to get too. The car is a Feb 4 week date .

I am also doing a 1969 Z-28 X77 car which needs rims and tires too so what are the sizes for that car too.  Thank you everyone for all the help and infor

Hi everyone, I am up in mass doing a job and I came across a pretty nice 1967 SS Camaro for some very short money but I am not home with all my notes and a limited computer so any help would be much appreciated. I don't have the vin# but here is the cowl plate. Thank you in advance.

My father acquired this motor from the original buyer in late 69 or early 70 from what I can remember. I believe the car was made into a race car like so many Camaros did. I know the original owner died in Vietnam and my father got the engine from the father. The car probably ended up in a crusher which would break many hearts.

Decoding/Numbers / Need help decoding this cowl tag
March 30, 2018, 04:02:32 PM
Hi, I am thinking this car is a z-28 and I know after doing so much reading LOS tag can be very frustrating to decode. Also the W 3L . The 3 is a mystery to me. This car has a 12 bolt and it was a 4 speed muncie car according to the speedo cable being on the right side of the master cylinder. The car has multi leafs which I thought they never put in any 67 car . I think this car being a mid year car makes it all that much harder. Thanks everyone.

HI, I am looking at a 1968 Camaro which he is claiming to be a big block car. I am looking at the firewall and what I don't know is,do all Camaros have the holes where small block heater core hoses come out from ? My 1968 SS big block car hoses come out from the middle of the heater box but I have never seen underneath what is there . Is there a difference ? Thanks everyone. I am trying to post a pic but I am still very new to the site. I posted a pic of where my hoses come out from . Any help is much appreciated . Thank you
