Hi All - to follow up on this miraculous reunighting, the car is now fully restored. Wish I had a better pic on hand, however you get the vibe. Came out incredible. At some point in the future, will do a full video walk around of it and host it to my YT channel "Authentic Motorworks". Probably will not happen until early 2027. Thanks!

The block and car are reunited after at least 35 years. The short block has not been apart ever, other than a couple of bearing caps and the oil pan and timing chain. The block was removed from the car when the bearing spun, and just stored all these years-never once in another car, never rebuilt, nothing. Standard bore, original pistons, original rods, original crank. Just sat all these years, waiting for today to come.
