I have not been on CRG in a number of years.  While reading through some old posts I thought it would be appropriate to give some updates to what has been going on with the Ken Stoddart Z/28 T/A.  After the Camaro was shown at MCACN in 2019 the car was sent to California to be race prepped.  The car was in California for close to a year.  Once the car returned to Ohio I had veteran race car mechanic Lance Mallett go over the entirely.  Over the next two years I shook the car down at Nelsons Ledges and Mid Ohio, both of these tracks were the home tracks for Ken Stoddart.  Ken came out to see me breaking the car in at Nelsons Ledges.  The Mid Ohio 2024 SVRA was the first event the car was entered in since Ken raced the car at Mid Ohio.  Since the car raced at Mid Ohio I have been sent numerous vintage photos of the car from when Ken was driving it as well as current photos of me driving it that I will share.  This car came a long way from the building I removed it from to the dominant race car it is today.  The car will be shown at this years Camaro Nationals In Morgantown PA July 17th & 18th 2026.

Jon is correct, the car raced with a single Holley...  While going through pictures of the car racing I noticed something weird...  It appears Ken raced the car with the factory Rosewood steering wheel on it?  In the one photo I have it is very easy to see the Rosewood color...  Was this aloud in TA?  Jeff

I want to thank Jon and the rest of the Camaro Research Group for all your kind words and help.  When I first bought the car I was over come by a project like this!!!  After sitting down and going through the car I find it amazing and very restorable!!!  I have restored many cars in my life but never a Trans Am 1969 Z/28...  The more pictures that keep coming in make me want to restore this car back to it's original TA glory...  With that being said I have decided that this car will go though a complete restoration to "As Raced" in the TA series...  I would appreciate any and all photos any of you may have of my car...  I am also very interested in a set of original Torque Thrust Magnesium wheels for my car.  "yes I know how much they cost, and how rare they are!"  I am sure you will see me asking for help regarding certain products that were used in the day as well as period correct items...  Regards, Jeff
