I know i have plenty of time left , i hope in my life to build a camaro. Currently i am figuring out what would be the best way to go for me. I like custom work , but also a stock original car si nice too. But i am more a custom guy. I like badass cars i see on you tube or other places. And i have to figure out in to what extend i can customize my car , for it being still a classic car, thats becuase of the taxes i will have to pay operating it on the road. I am currently looking at a car but have not decided yet if i wanna buy it. It is a good base car for a nice custom build. but wil need a ton of parts, maybe i should look for one that has more parts left on it. including engine. On the other hand if i buy a gutted out , car i can make it in to what ever i want it to be.

Cheers,

Sas

Hello fellow camaro guys,

First i am a new to the forum, i am a 44 old dad, and live in the Netherlands. I have always driven Alfa Romeos, but now i want to make a old dream come true. Drive a Chevy Camaro :)
I have found a possible candidate for a project car.

http://cgi.ebay.nl/ebaymotors/1968-Chevrolet-Camaro-/231314893694?ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:NL:1120&ViewItem=&item=231314893694&forcev4exp=true#ht_500wt_1414

Is somebody familiar with this guy, does someone live close to him who could check this car out? Could someone tell me more about it?

Sascha

CamaroSas-Congrats and welcome! Seems all new members (including myself when new to site) have a learnining curve to overcome in posting pics. It will just be a matter of time, short time I hope, as we all are interested and curious to see BSMIT59's finds.

Thx for the welcome, I am a 44 year old guy from the Netherlands Europe, Yup the country from which a plane was shot down above ukraine by those red communist. Anyway i have been in the car hobby since i could drive a car. I started of with alfa romeo's and have onwed quite a few. some 33 a 164 and latest a 2,5 v6 156. I had eibach pro street s suspension kit installed and it drove like a bat from hell, i could corner that car like it was nothing. But after more and more rust i got disappointed with the these cars. I decided to ga a diverend route , and i always liked the first gen, camaro's so here i am. I don't own a camaro yet but will first have to sell of the alfa romeo parts en save up some more, before i can go look for a suitable project car. SO if somebody  needs some info on alfa's i am the guy. that's all for now Hope to find some new friends in here.

Cheers,

Sas
