Larry it can definitely be done and I hope it is done already because I would sure like to see pics of your Camaro. So I saw a 69 RS coming up behind me on the road so of course I slowed down to get a good look. Turned out it was a newer Camaro. It looked great with the 69 RS grille. It was a maybe mid 2000ish Camaro. I am not familiar with the newer year models but they did it and the front end was cool. So yes build it your way. My 69 will have torque thrusts when I get it done because I love those wheels.I had a 68 years back but I sold it. Of course I kick myself now for selling it but I will get me another 68 Camaro. Good luck

Sorry about your grandpa. I love the Camaro. I too was very reserved about sharing my VIN or any info on an online forum. I cruised this website for a long time before I joined and waited longer to share my VIN.But I have to say this is a big Camaro family with lots of people willing to share knowledge and answer any questions. This is the best Camaro website and I'm glad you're here sharing your Camaro story with us.

Man that's awesome it's still in the family. Get it going. Tell him you'll help him. You and your cousin can drive it around in honor of your dad and uncle. Tell him that.

Awesome that you got a Camaro back in your stable. My first car was a 69 Camaro and I still have it. You are right about this site being the greatest. Congrats

This Camaro is a Z in my opinion because that is how it was built at the factory. A Z28. I would love to own this Camaro because it is a Z. I would drop a 302 in it if I had it. If I didn't I would drop in a big block. Either way I would drive and enjoy it. Of course I would love to own an original Z if I could but I still consider this one a Z28

Welcome Carlos, I had a 68 for a long time and loved the car. I kicked myself when I sold it but I will get me another. I still have my 69 Camaro. Good luck and enjoy your Camaro

Looks good to me. My 69 was lower in the back like yours. Always liked that look. Congrats on your Camaro. Nice car

I would also like to see your old pics. My 69 was Olympic gold from the factory. It was blue when I bought it
