small progress on the project.
I dismantled the front suspension, which is custom, to replace the original matt black powder coated control arm.
With aluminum bushing material.

Yes what tire and wheel combination do you have there?
The ultralite wheels are 15X8.5 front and rear.
The new minilite wheels will be 15X9 for the front and 15X10 for the rear.
with tires in 265/60/15 and 295x / 50/15

Paint looks good. I like the Sunoco Blue. Are those magnesium mini lites?

Thank you
These are not minilites, they are ten spoke ultralites that were already on the car.
I have on order minilite, eight spokes to replace. ;D

Good morning all,
I come back to you for your help.
Despite a lot of research, I did not find this SCCA stabilizer bar mounted above the chassis.
Does anyone know of one for sale or where can I find one?
Nascar or other suppliers do not adapt. :-\
Thank you in advance...

In the meantime, here are the latest advances for the baby.
The bodywork has been completely taken over, the front and rear fender edges have been reduced to a minimum.
and the car is finally painted in the famous Sunoco Blue.

Wow, you're really cookin with gas here!  ;D
Very serious and super interesting build thread, I love it!
Are you going to have a ZL-1 engine in it too, due to your nice nick name?  ;)
thank you
I mounted several aluminum motors in several SB and BB cars.
I mounted a ZL1 in a 1968 camaro.
And my camaro will receive a DONOVAN cross-ram aluminum SB.
I like the aluminum engine or my nickname.

Cool! I also built my own ZL-1 engine and put in my X44 Camaro!
You can se my build thread here, http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=13680.0
wonderful product.  ;D
I followed it well, I really like it.  ;)
