Nice 69 convertible for sale on Facebook made up to look like a 396 Pace Car. VIN is 124679N529277. Trim Tag is dated 10E and NOR 148816. And it's only $99,500...

Hopefully someone see this before bidding. This car went through Mecum Harrisburg in 2018. No picture back then of the VIN stamp. Thanks for posting.

Maintenance / Re: Voltage / Coil /

Have you considered fuel evaporation? I recently tested this and found that today's fuels evaporate from the fuel bowl nearly 50% overnight. This is enough to cause starting issues if left even overnight. I have this issue with my L48 Quadrajet and L78 Holley. I can post the results later of my test if anyone is interested.

My 05A X22 L78 with 3.73 rear has the original curved neck.

Judging by the old UPS stamp on the box, I would suggest that they are an early example of reproductions. Is there a GM part number printed anywhere on the box or the materials inside? This is always a hot topic on the Pace Car Registry as to whether or not they were delivered with the car.

I got my 69 BB Radiator back today from AAugusta in Greenville SC. Two weeks to the day (with Holiday). Stopped by James' (FirstGenAddict) shop. He was droolin" LOL.
Anyway, I spoke to the owner Roy. He saved the tanks and the top and bottom rails. Everything was cleaned and painted. Here are some pictures to see the work.

I can't explain to others not getting them to pick up. It's a busy shop and his daughter Tiffany answers the phone.
If someone wants to send their radiator to me I will take it directly to them, pick up and ship back to you. LMK
