     Thank you, for the replies and welcomes. Much appreciated. I have probably seen a few of you at past MCACN shows in Chicago, hanging out at the Camaro area! Also, enjoy reading the posts about every ones car.  Especially the "Gilmore". Same color combo mine was from the factory and will be again. Minus the stripes. Great information and pictures. Amazing that there are still cars out there that still are pretty much factory original. Wishing you all have a chance to take a "Christmas Cruise" in your favorite ride.

Kurt - My car isn't much help for the radius rod research. At some some point multi leaf springs were installed, with traction bars. Assuming the differential was factory installed, I can clearly see that a bracket was cut/ground off at the correct location. Attached are pics of differential stamp and castings. As for the rod itself being installed at the factory, we'll never know. I'll take a guess and say it was. Under the rear seat there is an area, directly rear of seat hold down bracket, that appears to have been stressed, cracked , sheet metal removed. Or maybe front spring mount stress?Someone laid a fiberglass mat over it, top and bottom. I might get a better idea if there was radius rod bracket when I get the fiberglass removed.  It is what it is, as they say. She's found a good home and I'll enjoy caring for and driving it.

Here are the pictures of the tags. Yes, I've been lurking for quite a while. I like to think of it as being a student in a 1st gen Camaro course. Learning all I can from the best out there. I hope to use what I've learned, while working on my car. I would really like to paint it and give it the look of the Camaro that I had in high school, but I've decided to put it back to looking as it came from the factory. If I can remember what day it is, where it's at or what project I was going to work on today!

Hello everyone. I became a member in Feb. 2013 and this is my first post. I purchased a 67 in Dec. 2012, as a retirement project. At a reasonable price, before prices got out of hand. That day has come and figured it was time to share it with you. First though, I have to throw a big thank you out to all of you that created this website and those that are keeping it going. Well done! I try to visit the site twice a day. Usually as a guest.  My cars vin is 124377N164976. The NCRS report shows a production date of 1/4/1967. Delivered to Blanck Chevrolet, Brownsburg, Indiana. Dealer code 27 - zone 25. I know little about the history of the car, other than what the two previous owners shared. There is very little that would be considered "original". Mostly it brings back memories of the 67 I inherited in 1975, as a junior in high school. To keep this short, I'll add a few pictures of the car. As purchased and where I'm at with it today. Thanks everyone and don't hesitate to hit me with any questions. I can share pictures of vin and cowl tags if anyone is interested.
