Jon, if you still don't think posting this picture from Racing Spots Cars is appropriate, please feel free to delete my post, I don't want to rub anyone the wrong way.

I don't mean to be too negative but I'd be heartbroken to know somebody altered Jon's car in such a way. Jon you did a fantastic job on your car while you had it. Fantastic car for sure.

Great read, awesome cars. I find it funny how many stories of SD Firebirds being ordered using ingenious methods since they were not very easy to get.

Absolute shame what happened to that car and it's driver. Great lookin car.

That man seems truly amazing. Parkinsons is a very tough way to see yourself go, especially as articulate and learned as he must have been. He was way too young. Condolences for his wife, I hope she doesn't let her heart break over this.

Interesting on the T/A prototype, as the rear 'wing' has a Judge and (later) Buick GSX vibe to it.

$1000 wasn't cheap 30 years ago. I mean you could've probably gotten a solid first gen Z28 with 80k miles and little to no rust in running daily drivable condition for what, 7-10k max?
Me being a pontiac guy, heck you could have the same condition 1970 T/A for probably $1-3k.
Ok enough rambling.
