How do you know your engine in question has 4 bolt mains ? Have you had it apart ? If so does it have an 1178 crankshaft for a 302 ? Maybe the original engine was hurt & the original block was unusable, so they put the surviving pieces into this block in the car ...

If the VIN isn't on the pad wouldn't it be on the bell housing flange ?

Make sure that your rear shackles aren't bound up or you will have a harsh ride .... Also if the shocks are too short in the rear it will ride harsh...

Nice work as always... What products are you using for the suede like a factory mix or custom ? Also are you using the 3m Shutz for the undercoating?

Thanks

On your pickup I have seen the weld crack when you try to weld the pickup to the pump ... I make a little sheetmetal bracket & weld it to the pickup & bolt it to the pump ...

I replaced one years ago with a standard ignition brand & it seemed ok , never actually checked the temp .. But if your needle is really low can you adjust the needle? I've always wondered how the gauges were marked v/s actual degrees..Mine was lying to me & said it was boiling & it wasn't..

I just recently saw a GM fiberglass Crossram hood for sale & I believe it had the hood pins with an installation diagram , Can't recall if it also had the prop rod or not ... As far as buying a new hood Glasstek makes the hood that fits the Crossram air cleaner & it's probably cheaper than the normal Camaro parts houses..
