Alphabetically only, no preference intended. All are reputable sources.

Camaro Specialties
D&R
Heartbeat City

There are others, but I am personally most familiar with these.

Good luck with your search.

Not necessarily. You can post pics or contact CRG members directly for help.

Very hard to help you out with so little info.

Quote from: Badshifter on May 25, 2026, 10:37:37 PMIn addition to all the other info, why would the car be acid dipped? That was a thing in the 60's 70's race cars. But today?

Most likely to strip the paint. Low effort.

Quote from: buenymayor on April 22, 2026, 05:46:57 AMRear axle is stamped Jan 19 (0109), and tag is from a 4th week of September car, so those don't line up.

Very cool pic (no pun intended).

Looks like the dealer held onto it for awhile.

The 90's were prolific times for people faking cars.

General Discussion / Re: 1978 Pontiac Firebird

Quote from: GMAD_Van Nuys on April 17, 2026, 11:28:25 AMI drove my 1979 Trans Am for about a month to work while waiting for my 1998 Z28 to be delivered to Cormier Chevrolet in Long Beach.  The Pontiac 400 has a 800 cfm Quadrajet carburetor and got 8 mpg driving mostly on the freeway.  I had to fill the 21 gallon tank every four days and could see the gauge go down as I went down the 405 freeway early in the morning in the slow lane!

Same; the experience was worth every penny!

Have you checked the assembly or service manuals?

Decided to do some research. I only have pics of these plugs from one of my cars. Seeing this makes me wonder about the other cars I have owned. It's just as likely they were all like this one.

Dated for a 68. The crack is repairable as well as the cut down plenum divider.
