was the blacked out tailpan on just big block SS's or on the small blocks also? dont recall seeing a small block SS with blacked out tailpan, but thought i'd ask on here, as some of you are def the experts

68 VIN, Feb cast block with an early May assembly date, late May heads and a June intake?  I don't think so.

so this is a 68' block?? thought "HB" was a 69 specific year stamp?

i have a complete engine from a 69 SS 350/300hp car, its a HB code, thats a 350/300hp 4 bolt main with a 350TH trans, the vin is 9N456375, i bought it b/c i thought it made mine a numbers matching car, but i'm now learning more and more from this and other sites (the hard way i suppose), i f anyone needs this , let me know

trying to find any info about my car i bought a few months ago... 9N701668 , any info at all, as i would love to know more about my car.....i bought this to keep in the family, so any documentation for it would be great, or even any history as i dont know any at all, and the last owner coudlnt even remember the guys name he bought it from.....so, any help would be hugely appreciated, thanks
