                     looking at pictures of amazing 69 z/28 surviver (wow) _ I see lifting lugs (painted silver) and safety cables_
     were these factory installed or dealer on a 9a car_also the left spark plug wire tower with 2 bends was this on all 69 z/28
     or just those with a cowl air cleaner.
      I have a 9a_never been out of family_went thru. brier patch in early years_finnaly getting it put back together_
      have original sales slip 4149.20 dollars. need to gather up some lost items.

  i thought this was orig. but it looks like a spacer is needed.   help.

  in regards to the vent cables   i have a 69 z serviver with original cables  cable sheath was cracked in a few places  iused some elect. heat shrink over them just a bandade  . my problem is after u connect to uper control arm where do u clamp the cable and are they special clamps r side seems to be way out of line for a clamp anywhere  .

       im putting togeather a69 with the original dash and after installing the piller post moldings i noticed toward the windshield ther seems to be a void about 1 inch long on both corners should this be filled with something

thanks john maybe i willtry to run down a 480 need it and a 367 starter to make it original for a engine build of 8-25 and also if u know i have a partial vin with the 9 upside down and a 8 higher than the rest   were thease hand stampped .

   john z,s pictures cleared a lot up for me also  thanks.   I have a 09a and would like to know what spark plug wire retainers it came with from the factory and if it had lifting lugs on it. thanks Iceman

 copy of same car offered 4/10/2008 by encore motorcars of sarasota,inc.

new to post   bare with me   .  was very interested to see it in hendrickperformance on 12/5/2011.

have same car only its original  never been out of family.
