Hello,
Does anyone know the correct part numbers for the rear shocks, with multi-leaf, L34, Muncie, Delco Spirals?
Several vendors list
3192832- multi-leaf
3192851- multi-leaf "Z28"
3192831 (AIM)
Are any of these numbers correct for this application?
Thank you.

Originality / 68 396 Smog Pump Bracket
February 25, 2019, 11:16:19 PM
Hopefully someone can answer this;
On a '68 396 Smog system, I have been informed that there are 2 different designs for the main (mounted on intake manifold) mounting bracket, one which has the spot-welded diverter valve mounting bracket and one without?
Is this true? If so, which version was "early" or "late" - and when was the "early" version changed?
Thank you.

Originality / 68 Rally Sport lower side moldings
July 26, 2018, 01:59:41 AM
On a '68 RS with the lower side moldings, concerning the doors only, I understand that the clips are of the "T" bolt with nut variety, but I am unsure about the ends (front/rear) - are they fastened with the same acorn nuts or are the end clips of the type that have female threads and take the low-profile/flat chrome plated phillips screw typical of most GM products of that era up through the 80's?
Could anyone post a pic showing the end attachments on an original car?
Would greatly appreciate any input on this.
Thank you.

Originality / 68 Rally Wheel Date Codes
July 26, 2018, 01:49:33 AM
I am searching out a set of original Rally wheels for a 68,(09D) and I was wondering what the range would be for the date codes? 90 days? How close to the build date of the car?
Thanks.

Originality / Under-Dash Heater Box

Just want to confirm, on a 68, the under-dash heater box color - is it semi-gloss black, or is it a dark gray?
Thanks for your help.

Hope someone knows the trivia on this. 68 with deluxe interior and fold down seat, the lower armrest panels, were they year-specific? Ashtray size variations? Lower armrest panel itself specific to fold down seat or just deluxe interior?

I have 2 sets - one with large ashtrays, and other with smaller ones- 67,68,69??? Larger ashtrays have ribs on lid.My car is a 68 (September 67 built) and I need to confirm the ash trays as well as any differences between fold down and non fold-down seat.

Also, the length of the thin stainless molding on the cardboard section of the quarter trim panel?

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

Originality / Re: 68 RS Taillamp Harness

Can anyone tell me which harness for the taillamps would be correct for my 68 RS- the version with the unplug-able side marker wires or the continuous wiring feed to the side markers?

Thanks

Originality / 68 RS Taillamp Harness
April 17, 2018, 03:41:49 PM
On a 68 RS, is the side marker lamp wiring a separate pigtailed harness, plugging into the taillamp harness on each side, or is it one uninterrupted wiring loom direct to the side marker harness. I have two harnesses, basically identical to each other, which came with my basket case, neither one installed, (backup lamp plugs cut off)one harness ends on each side with a 2-prong plug, the other harness is straight through to the side markers.
Does anyone know which is correct fo 68? Is one possibly a 69?
68 - separate harness just for the side marker lamp?
Or 69?

Thank you

On a 68 (sept 67 prod), which would be the correct grille for the rear window defogger? - I have two - one being a rectangle and the other with a curve on one end.
