I recently purchased a date correct DZ bare block to keep for my camaro in the future. I was able to decipher the VIN (19N569785) from the oil filter area. The build date is V1218DZ and the casting date is L178. I am only interested in selling the block to the owner of the original body for the price I paid, if the body is still around. Otherwise, I will keep the block for the future. If you show me the original VIN plate I will provide all the information you need, otherwise please do not bother. 

I contacted the seller through Ebay.Seems like a nice guy and went out of his way to clarify the VIN above the oil filter. He stated it appears the last three numbers are 735. Close to mine and date correct, but I have to keep looking. If it can help anyone heres the link. Item number 300390401579.
