I have a FSO stripe delete 67 RSSS.  Question has been raised about the Z21 trim package pinstripe on the delete cars. Ours ends as it would with the D91 BB stripe. The aim relates to the pinstripe having two configurations. If a L48 option car it's forward point ends just short of where the  D91 stripe would be. The 2nd is "other than" that extends around another 3.5" darter forward.
Does anybody have thoughts on if there were changes in length of Z21 pinstripe if it was a stripe delete   car?
There is another thought original SS that is also thought to be stripe delete that pinstripe runs to forward point as if it was a RS or base car with the Z21.

Yes two. As I said at start I saw one at Springfield that had the square metal. They were on a 68 and said to be original.

This is two that we have now seen with the square metal retainer. Both claimed to be original. So this raises my curiosity even more. Hope we can get some more helpful input.

Yes and thanks Niblet. I run into a guy that had metal square retainers and swore they were orig.
Had me questioning mine. The post above was a big help as the round with holes in the posts are what is still in place on this car. Verified my original thoughts.

What has been the earliest documented L78? There are tags in question  with August and oct  4k stamping. Also kinda same but also like to know if the approximate date of the Norwood switch from the 4P to the 4K and so on for other than the L48 and L30/M20 ?

Does anybody have a list of the proper jets, needles for the different applications on the q-jet
Mainly the 69 L48 w/auto and air?
Body may be right but when these are rebuilt who knows what you get.

Maintenance / Re: Hot start, electrical issues.

For me it was a ghost that I chased for a year on and off.
As mentioned above I thought it was wiring as I added a jumper from the solenoid that I could jump to the battery when I acted up to eliminate the stsrter or battery.
Worked fine every time. So issue went on. Then resuming my quest I again tackled it and found it was my solenoid breaking down under the heat. Thought I had eliminated that but guess not. Since change no issues at least on that subject.
