Thanks for your reply. That confirms what I have found also.
The suffix code is T1108JA.( It is not the original motor but correct date code
for the car.)
Some numbers decodes say it is a L78 396 375 (Year One) others say it is a L35 396 325.
What do you say ??

I am helping a friend work on a 69 Camaro that was raced for several years. He would like
to return this car to a "Local Show and Driver" but along with the whole front end he needs the Cowl Tag is missing
off the car.
The VIN number is intact, can he get a replacement Cowl Tag ??

I have a 69 SS with 396.
Did this car only come with the EGG CRATE hood
or was there an option for a cowl induction hood?
