I do not think the block had been decked. It has been a bracket  motor for at least the last 19 years. We took the engine apart at .030 and bored it to .060 and made it a 355 in 91. The deck is 9.029 pass. and 9.035 driver. I am in no way an expert so anyones help would be appreciated.  Thanks Rich

After some very frustrating hours using the yellow crayon and red machinist's dykem I have come up with "perhaps" one number.  I am not sure what else to do.  Any other suggestions or help of any kind would certainly be appreciated.  Attached is the best picture I could take.  Thanks in advance.  Rich

  Is the 1967 350 rod a different casting or a small jor. rod bored out. ? I know the rod bolts are 11/32 instead of 3/8.

I tried that and with a opimas mag head set could not make out anything, but I will try again. I am not computer literate and when I tried to post even one pic it said no more than 150KB ? I am having my wife try but she is not sure either.. This is a Mac for her work, so if anyone has any ideas I would be most grateful...

I have looked through the FAQ and the topics but can not find any info on where else the vin # could be besides the front pad and the oil filter housing.. Any suggestions on where to look ?
