Only used on 68-69 convertible not coupe! Coupe only uses nut and jack base like Badshifter picture 2nd one down on left side. Hope this helps.

My 1968 delco book say's the gm number is 1115355 which should be MS 355 for 1111440 distributor.

Just looked up in 1968 gm parts book say's 3925775. So 67-68 should be the same. Hope this helps.

The original dipstick did not have a number on it. The replacement does also should be brown plug on the end just like the one you said yours has. Post a picture of it with measurements.  I would look at the tube or oil pan!

Should not hiss. I would check the  hoses that attach to the valve in the switch first. If the are not leaking then you have a problem with the switch. Hope this helps.

Pretty cool book. I have that and 68 version and also later versions. I worked in GM parts department from early 80's till abought a 18 months ago. Any time they would clean out books I would be given Chevrolet Parts book. Nice to see when part was superceded. Have fun with a wealth of Information!

Good find. Does the duct have a number on it is so what is the number on it. The duct is the only piece I have not found yet.

Thought 1967 396 was not offered with air condioning! Line on evaporator is turned to the wrong direction. Trim tag looks odd to me but  I will leave that to the experts. Not original fan shroud either.

Yes there is on the right hand  side only. 1968 and 1969 are are different also. Hard to find for 1968 but there is one right side on ebay. Hope this helps.
