I have it on my 69 with a 350. The center X section had to be trimmed for me (too long). I guess it depnds on the headers used. Much quieter than flowmaster. Mufflers are straight thru design, so flow should be excellent. I didnt use the clamps, had it welded. It has been on for a year- about 3500 miles. Finish still looks good- no rust or hazing. Tailpipes fit well. I dont care for the tailpipe exit configuration, but no big deal- personal preference. I would definately buy another one. Scott
