Thanks a lot Rick for spending your time on my topic...very helpful.

Let you know how it goes.

Also, what of the PCV.  It's a "screw" in?  No parts places have reference for it.  They all have reference for push in.  Is my part correct or is their references wrong?

Screws into carb....

Now rebuilt.....How do I tune it?  Obviously just adjusting idle screw is not all there is.  Any special tools or tricks?

Thanks!!!!!!!!

How can I find a model/part # without the tag usually mounted on front?

Carb. number in a circle on driver's side says....7013878

I assume it is Rochester as it has the raised letters....RP on top and side of carb.

What can I know about this carb.?

Awesome reply.  Great info.

What did you mean by left/right picture?

And where might I get these parts?

This is under the Idle Compensator plate.  Can anyone tell me what is missing?  I feel in a pervious build there were 2-3 other items under this plate.

Found a pic of my needs on pg.98 6 C5.  Exactly what I have.

Frustrating the ASM never shows a 327 210HP 2BC or LF7 engine.  Why is that?!?!?!?!?!

Will refer to manual.

And yes the canister was in the oil valley.  Any ideas on gaskets you mentioned for this part?  Can't seem to reference at any known parts places.

The vent tube on the back of the block by distributor is being put back(was leaky).  Does anyone know if it was to have a gasket or RTV?

After cleaning off the tops I concur.  Lots of different bolts, 5 original to my observation.

They didn't have washers...did original setup have washers?

Why are the manifold bolts I took off different sizes.  The two longest ones were on the passenger front and went through the bracket for the factory air so those I understand.  What about the other two sizes?  Anyone?
