Thanks! Are these two forums linked somehow, or run by the same folks?

Originality / Hurst badges on a 69?
March 29, 2010, 04:30:07 PM
My buddy just bought a nice, fairly original-looking 69 SS. On the rear panel near the bumper there is a chrome/black/red badge with the Hurst logo on it. Have any of you ever seen that before?

Also inside below the Hurst shifter there is some sort of original-looking sticker with the Hurst logo. Ever seen that?

Thanks, I appreciate the effort!  :) I should have mentioned mine is a 350 and I am pretty positive it originally only had one.

Originality / 69 A/C suction hose insulation

This is pretty trivial, but does anyone know if there should be one or two pieces of insulation around the A/C suction hose on a 69 SS-RS built in October, and how long that piece(s) should be? It does have a wheel well bracket for the hose to route through. Thanks!

My 69 SS RS had an original chrome lid with the Turbo-Fire 350/300 HP sticker on it.
