Does any body have any ideas how I can get the history of this car from the date it was purchased to 1991 were it was bought from British Colombia auto insurance were it had been stolen and had a ground up restore and came with a 350. I would love to find the orginal motor which I believe is a 327. Were these motors stamped with the vin # of the car?
Would love to get the first 68 of the line with the matching powertrain.
Any ideas or am I looking for a needle in a haystack?
Thanks

Just purchased my 2nd 68 at 49 , my first one was when I was 16. The one I just purchased is a SS clone 396 4 speed with all the goodies. The best thing about it is the vin # 124378N300001. Checked it out and has the #'s in all the right places. By chance would any one Know the history of this car. I have heard it called the pony car for testing?
Any info would be great. Can check it out on KIJIJI in Cleveland Ohio.
Thanks
