General Discussion / 5 1/4 in. pittman arm
February 01, 2016, 07:59:36 PM
hello, can anyone describe the correct procedure to measure a pittman arm. I have received 2 arms supposedly 5 1/4 inches. I measured them using 2 parallel    lines c/l of large hole and c/l of stud.I sent the first one back to hbc and they sent another just like the first one. WTF, does anyone know where the measurements are centered to? Does anyone have one that measures 5 1/4 in center of hole and center of stud? Waiting for some clarity. Thanks--------------------Dan-the-Man

Hi guys, re:68 rs SS in La. tornado belongs to a Friend of mine. The car was stored 2 houses from my house. The tornado took the entire garage/shop,tools,etc. The car received heavy damage to the pass. door and every body panel has some damage, including the convertible top frame and interior water damage. My rs SS coupe is in my garage and suffered no damage. PTL  Both cars are numbers matching rs SS big blocks. Plans for restoration are already underway !

Hi. Does anyone have any opinion on re-pro wood steering wheels? Is there an acceptable brand that is closest to original? I don't feel like spending $$$$$$$ on a cracked-up original. Congrats. Jerry on your class win at Indy. We were parked almost next to you-F/SA--STOCK ELIMINATOR-  09 Challanger drag-pak.       Thanks, dan-the-man
