General Discussion / Seat parts
January 26, 2010, 10:29:32 AM
I have just learned that the company, I believe it was Arizona Spring/Seat Co., is now out of business. I am trying to rebuild the deluxe seats on my 67 Camaro. I need a spring for the back of the passenger seat. As long as I fishing here, I need the side support springs for the seat bottoms of both seats also. Anyone have any ideas where I might go? Made a bunch of call and know one has any.
Thanks.

Restoration / Master Cylinder
January 24, 2010, 01:58:02 PM
As one part of my restoration, I'm reduning the brake system. The car is a 67 with front disc brakes. The current master cylinder is a two reservior, singel bail cylinder, stamping # is 5462810 Y. It has the distribution block (the wire has been disconnected) and the meter valve. The cylinder needs to be rebuilt as it is leaking at the rear. I have one opinion that this is not the correct cyllinder for front disc brakes. The bore is 1". Guess I don't want to rebuild it if it is not correct. It also does not have the bleeders. I am also going to replace the booster as it is pretty ugly looking. Open to ideas/opinions.
Thanks.

February 11, 2008, 03:10:06 PM
I have acquired a 67 Camaro that I would like some help in figuring out what I have. Cowl tag is as follows;

                          01C
           ST           67 12637                   NOR                    78143              Body
           TR           765  Z                                                  A-A                 Paint
                          E2ELG                     3SLK
                          4N      3BY

Here's what I get out of it;
01   -    January of model year
C     -    3rd week
67   -    year model
12637   - 12 - ?  6 - custom interior   37  -  coupe
NOR   - Norwood, Ohio
78143  -  Fisher body No.
765 Z  -  Strato bucket seats
A-A  -  Tuxedo Black. Not sure about the other A
E2ELG  -  E - All tinted glass  2 - ?  E - Air Conditioning  L - Floor Shift   G - console
3SLK  -  S - interior decor group  L - Ralley sport package  K - Exterior decor group
4N  -  N - 396/325 hp black pan w/round radius rod
5BY  B - Large rear bumper guards   Y - Belts all deluxe

I know the engine is not origional, which is know a 454 w/396 heads.
The transmission nos. are PT301B (Munice) 392566
The 2 nos. on the rear end are (bottom front flange) 8894860NF, and on the passenger side tube, QK 0120G
The car also has a tilt steering colum and black vinyl top.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
