A completely rebuilt 1969 Z28 original DZ engine with orginal 1178 crank, pink rods, 186 heads, pistons, carb and intake. Stamping V0331DZ casting 3956618 4 bolt main with windage tray, N stamped on the main caps, O stamped on the rods Vin is ST along side oil filter, casting date C-26-9 original 3927172 STD bore pistons, 3927186 completely rebuilt and we have receipts for block rebuild. Heads with orginal pressed in studs, head casting dates 3-14-69 & 3-17-69, we have receipts. Cam is a new comp cam 30-30 replacement as recommended by Jerry MacNeish. Oil pan is not original to this engine. Heads & Intake have not yet been installed so that engine can be inspected prior to purchase. Also Vin stampin on block is 19N62912? Can't see the last Vin #. DZ carb was completely rebuilt & recoated.

I have for sale a 1969 Camaro dz 302 engine block. the block has been painted black. The block is very clean. Bore is 4.030". The block is four bolt main. I bought block and found out it was the wrong date casting. I have also decided to go a different route with the engine that we will put in the car. The block casting number is 3970010. The date code is F-3-9 (June 3, 1969). VIN casting is 19N66302?. I can't see the last digit of the vin. The front stamping is V0609DZ. Asking $700 for the block. or trade for 1969 muncie 4 speed transmission. or maybe something else if you are really interested. i can be called/texted at 517-648-3016 and will respond asap. block and main caps is all i have.
