Originality / Re: 67 coupe rear end
February 07, 2008, 01:28:55 PM
OK I checked the codes and I am running 3.08 gears. That figures to about 3670 RPM at 70 MPH. That seems to high for a 3000 lb car. Any suggestions?

I have a 67 6cyl  3 speed saginaw car that I am putting a 350 with a 4 speed muncie. My quesion is how do I tell what rear end I have. With the 6 cyl it seemed to wrap pretty high at 65 mph. Also what would anyone recomend for a rear end gear for a good hiway car.
thanks Brad

Does any one have a picture of a 67 small block with power steering. I need to know what bolts to use to mount the pump to the bracket and where the spacers go if any.
Thanks

Rick's has the correct brackets for '68 350.

You need to get the correct pulleys too.

I have all the pulleys except for the water pump pulley for a L-48 w/o smog w/C-60 and N-40 config and it does have the 8" balancer

Mild Modifications / Swap 250 CID 6 for 350 CID SBC
November 15, 2007, 10:52:26 AM
I am swaping the 6 for a 350. I need everything. brackets, pulleys, exhaust manifold (ram horn?) motor mounts. I am staying with the 67 set up with the alternator on drivers side. I also have vintage air and am adding power steering. Any help locating parts or advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
