Thanks alot,that makes feel better that the body number does not have to match the vin. Are there any records of body numbers anywhere? .thanks for your help. ;D

Thanks for clearing that up, The  color of my car is Hugger Orange with a Black Vinyl roof...I'm curious if it is right....Can you help de-code this for me ?

Is'nt it against the law to not have the vin match the title? Or is because it is the cowl tag and that does'nt matter as long as the the window vin matches the title? I'm confused ??? I guess my question is does the VIN numbers appear on the cowl ?
