Is it a '67 rear?

Maryland has one of the best title services compared to other states.  I would suggest you do a title search for the car, attached is a link the MD DMV to get the form.  Make sure you list a 'purpose', I always use 'research'.  Best of luck.

Excellent!!  That would be great to unite the invoice with the car.  I think my buddy has put the invoice on ebay a few times trying to see if the car was still out there.  He charges a fee for the invoices bec/ he invested quite a bit to obtain them from a dealership that was closing - but fee or no fee, how many owners even have the chance of getting their original invoice?
