What are these secret papers you have? Can you expand on that?

I own an LOS 67 and have had some roll through my shop and did rotisserie restorations on them. They had virgin, untouched original black bellies. Curious about the percentage of cars that had blue bottoms.

I have a '68 second week of December '67 build and the bottom of the car is also black. If fact it's the same color as the firewall.

Wow! That looks like it came from the rust belt.

I know this thread is old, but here's some pictures of my early '68 zinc anodes.

The four rear subframe bolts on my 1968 LA car assembled the 4th week of December 1967 has the same bolts in your picture.

I bought a set from Rick's before the buyout. They are identical to the originals they replaced.

Original manual transmission cars had a stamped hole that left a "lip" approximately 1/8" wide that was directed downward for rigidity.

I had the same problem with the length of the rod also, too long. I just bent it to fit. It works fine, just doesn't fit like an original one.
