What year was it?

Where the DX-1 stipes available all of 1969 production year? I'm looking at a 01B RS that has "Front Accent Striping" on the dealer invoice. I'm just wondering if they would have been the DX-1 or the SS type "hocky stick" stripe? The car is currently in primer.

I recently picked up a 69 X33D80 Z28. Its an old race car and the trim tag has a thick coating of gloss paint on it. Whats the best way to clean it off to expose the numbers without damaging the tag? I've tried a scotch bright pad with little success. I don't really want to use sand paper. Will laquer thinner do any damage? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm purchasing a 69 X33 Z28 drag car that is code 79. Are there any production figure breakdowns based on color? Just wondering how rare the Rallye Green color was?
