Hi,
I have a 1968 RS convertible that was in GM company service at Flint Assembly to a W. P. Falvey.  Its a early November 1967 Norwood build.  Anyone have an idea how I can find out what W. P. Falvey's job at the plant was around this time?  Thanks

Hi,
Does anyone know what amp altenator a 68 RS with power windows and power convertible top would have come with?  I currently have a  61 amp out of a 1971.  Thanks

Was Sequoia Green too dark to get the black sill treatment?

I found a Roger Peck Chevrolet OK used car ad from 1968.  The address was 32715 Grand River, Farmington MI.  I talked to the owner of the Holiday Chevrolet building shown above and she was sure that the original Roger Peck Chevrolet was down the street from the one above.

I think I found the current owner of the building.  I will call her next week and see what she knows.

Hi Kurt,
It is not this document.  The one I have is smaller and has much less detail.  I will try to scan it again today.  I think I sent you a scan of this several years ago.

Thanks Dave.  Holiday purchased Roger Peck Chevrolet in 1984.  Holiday Chevrolet closed when they downsized the dealerships during the bankruptcy. Not sure this is the same building. I think Roger Peck may have been in a building down the road from this one in 1968.  The local historical society and library have no info on this. I have the original shipping invoice but it does not have the street adress, just the dealer name and town.

General Discussion / Shipping invoice
February 17, 2012, 07:55:01 AM
I found a factory to dealer shipping invoice for my 68 convertible.  The invoice is in pretty bad shape but near the bottom it says "formerly in company service" along with a name below it.  Anyone know what that means? Does anyone have a decent copy of one of these invoices they could scan that I could look at?
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi,
I am restoring a 68 RS originally sold at Roger Peck Chevrolet in Farmington MI.  Does anyone happen to have a photo or anything from that era of the dealership?
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Steve,
Yes mine has the silver, but a lot of it has worn off.

My unrestored February '68 built Norwood car has orange PTB stamps on both sides of the cowl.  Still very clear.  I am trying to figure out a way to preserve them when the time comes to restore the engine compartment. :)
