Brian, The rubber sleeve- is it like a foam sleeve like the one on the power steering hose? Do you have a picture? Thanks

Originality / 67 Sending Unit

I ran across this in the Chevrolet Assembly Instructions Book. I have a couple of questions on the supply line from the sending unit. 1, there is a sleeved area with tape on supply line next to the gas tank strap. 2, there is a taped area on fuel line on top of the fuel tank. I haven't seen this before. Was this used on 67's?

Thought the filler neck was natural. Gold colored screws. Right? Have a norwood car. Just want to make sure about the gas straps. Dont what to have to change them at a later date to make correct. Thanks..

Originality / Gas Tank Straps+ filler neck

Working on a 67. What color are the gas tank straps? Natural steel or black? Also on the face of the gas filler neck(galvinized piece), is it body color or natural galvinized? Thanks

Restoration / power top motor

Didn't see a topic on this.
I had to put new lines on power top motor on a 67. Sticker on power top calls for type A fluid. They dont make type A anymore. Wonder what trans fluid would be recommended? Thinking type f. Other question is, How do you get the air out of the lines? Only have a small fill hole on the motor. Didn't see a bleeder on the system.  Any tips.. Thanks

So is the driveshaft flange assembly natural in color? The part that is attached to the pinion gear.
