I know this discussion is about the T and P but may I ask if anyone knows what the M in a square might be? I have a Flint 327 block and this water pump showing the M near the casting number.

Car was at Camaro Nationals last summer, spoke with the current owner Jim. Neat story.

Mine is about 2 turns. Took some getting used to on the highway. Started out with a 69 variable then switched to an IROC gear. I think you'll want to make sure the rest of the linkage is good and tight and is properly aligned.

Here's some of mine from years ago. I didn't have a whole lot of detail in mind when I took these pictures, more just for location not color accuracy, sorry.

Awesome! Thanks for the time and effort. What a great resource!

Nice work, Bryon.

Is "pinion yoke" used more commonly than "pinion flange"?
#11
Welding it is relatively simple for a pro but making it look factory is a different story. And, there are a lot of angles involved in their placement so do some research.

I'm pretty sure Bryon meant M13 (not MC1) for 67-8 HD Borg Warner.

I truly believe all cars and the data they provide are significant to this group.

FWIW, my 69 SS has no rubber bumper.

Here is some previous discussion about the pads including a few pics of mine.

Paul, I sent my green one (for a ivy gold int) to them and they did a pretty close match. However, they didn't send a sample for me to look at first. I told them to do their best to match what was left on the underside that wasn't faded.
