Hello everyone. My name is Jill, and I'm hoping to reunite some history with my mom's first-generation Camaro.
My mom purchased this Camaro brand new on February 25, 1969, from Mancuso Chevrolet in Skokie, Illinois. Around 1980, my parents sold it to a gentleman who drove from Tennessee with a trailer to take it home.
We recently discovered the original dealer bill of sale and tax paperwork in excellent condition, and I also have an original family photograph of the car. If this Camaro still exists, I would love to give copies of these original documents and photos to the current owner—no strings attached. I'm not looking to buy the car; I simply want its history to stay with it. She was my childhood chariot and I have a glimmer of hope that she's still alive.
