Thanks so much for your hard work and time getting the forum back up Kurt !  This site is light years ahead of any other site for research and history on Camaros ! I'm working hard on the history of my car. It's Exciting

There is a very good chance I own this car. I've had it for 43 years and only found out it was a NASCAR PACE CAR a couple of months ago.
I texted back and forth with Kurt Sonen. He believes or told me that it was the first one ordered then a group of 6+ was ordered a couple of weeks later.
Mine is Identical to the North Wilesboro car except for the steering wheel shroud. Mine is wood grain.
It has the original PZ  rearend and CC trans.
The engine is a CE062061. I'm guessing it was replaced because it was modified (8 quart pan) or damaged during its duty as a pace car, since this is a 1970 block.
My car has not been restored. It has been repainted twice. I'm the third owner. The man I purchased it for traded for it in 1974@. Please contact me, or talk to Kurt and get him call me ....Please ! I want to know how he knows it was the 1st one ordered   I told him I'll gladly pay for information! In fact I'll pay up front !!! I'm been trying to get a copy of the original title from chev to NASCAR. I'm having a hard time but not giving up !
