I do have the NCRS and dealer info which was definitely fun to find out.

I love learning about the history of our cars. Is there a resource or any tips that anyone has used to find information about original owners?

The assembly manual is an absolute God send! Fantastic having the part numbers and diagrams. Thanks again!

I've been searching the catalogs and can't seem to find what part is inserted into the valve cover to connect the hose to the air cleaner assembly. Places seem to sell a 90 degree insert but that isn't correct. I'm looking for the proper hose and whatever insert is placed inside the valve cover to hold it. Just like this engine pic attached. Thanks In advance for the guidance on this one!

Decoding/Numbers / Re: Original X55 tag?

Thanks everyone, wonderful news, especially considering all the fake discussions and posts and pictures! And yes, my VIN is 613XX so in that range. The car has the old school CA black and yellow plates (presume original) and I'm thrilled to have a Gen 1 again after having been forced to sell my previous one during a challenging marriage 15 years ago.

I'm single at 50 now and this one is a planned keeper :)

Looking to verify this one from my 1969 SS. Thank you!

Body by Fisher spacing is completely off from mine. I'm new to the group by the way. Looking forward to diving in and studying and learning more about my own 1969 SS (X55) Camaro!
