MY original rod has the stamp 5599 towards the top where it connects to the steering column. I am looking to purchase another rod for a different restoration. The rod I am looking at does not have the stamp where my original rod has the stamp. Maybe other Members can add to this discussion on where their stamp is located. Thank you for offering to look at my stamp.

Is the stamp 5599 located in the same location on all original upper reverse lock out rods?

The 1968 motor mount through bolt has fine threads. 1969 motor mount through bolt has course threads.

I am not sure if this is a judged item, but I will be taking my car to the Camaro Nationals and want to make sure I have the correct bolts.

The car is a 1969 Z/28. No one knows what grade bolts they have for the through bolts for the motor mounts.

I know the size of the bolt, but my question is what grade bolt are the motor mount through bolts supposed to be. I see head mark bolts with the letter "C" with three radial lines (grade 5) and I see head mark bolts with the letter "A" with six radial lines (grade .

1969 Z/28. The dash screws on the side and the bezels that cover the instrument cluster gauges on the dash.

My dash screws have a bronze color washer on them. Has anyone come across this before.

Yes, it does use a star washer.

I have researched every possible vender for the front window regulator rollers. They all seem to offer the same roller. The picture I have shows the original design roller has four pieces and the repro roller design has two pieces. I hate to put it this way but my shower door rollers look more like the original design than the repro design. Has anyone installed the repro roller.

The Petersen Archives has many photos of the car; this is the only one that shows it was built with two grille emblems. Maybe Chevy asked them to remove it?

Now I know why my wiper transmission has white paint on it.
