Is the original 69 Z/28 Shift Knob for cars with a console, a zinc die-cast that was then chrome plated?
Anyone recently had a plating shop restore their knob to back to as new condition?

What other years and models use the same chromed knobs as the 69 Camaro Center Console Mounted 8 Track?

I am very interested in everyone's opinion on this partial VIN stamp, is it original GM or a restamp?

Has anyone seen another warranty block stamped with the Letter "P" as part of the warranty sequence number?

Does this Oil Pan have the characteristics of an Assembly Line oil pan for a 69 Z/28 or is it a reproduction or later version built in Canada?

Has anyone rebuilt an original October 1968 built L48 with a 4 speed that could confirm or document that it must be a 4 bolt block and must have a forged crank.
I am hoping not to have to ask the owner of this engine I want to purchase, to remove drain the oil and remove the oil pan.

I am looking for a casting number and date correct engine block for a 12C built Van Nuys 69 Camaro.
Any chance a 3932388 block stamped T1209HB would be correct?
