Very happy to have the Forum back. Thanks to all that worked to make happen and keep it more secure.

I do see differences in the tags pictured here. Maybe it's the paint build up on the X77 tag but I am still not a believer just yet.

Thank you Bryon.

I was not able to load a picture of the trim tag for this car but here is another March tag 03D that I know is real for comparison purposes.

This trim tag does not look right to me.

I agree on the 5 before the second nine. The only number I can't make out is the last one. I think it's 19N5954__.

Hard to see with the alternator in the way. Missed it.

Not the clearest picture but you can at least see all the numbers and characters. The VIN stamp does not look right to me though.

Engine stamping looks very fresh to me and it does state in the picture below that this is "original stampings".

Car sold twice at BJ (2007) & (2010). In 2007 write up stated engine was "numbers matching" and 2010 stated engine was "date code correct". The Camaro appears to have been repainted as deck stripes do no longer go all the way down the back lip. Other notable changes are the steering wheel and brake booster have been swapped out and are both reproductions.

N612301 was final-assembled on or about March 11, 1969.

Release date on the tag is not a reliable indicator of exactly when a Norwood car was built. 37 ZL-1 Camaros had 02D tags, none of them were built in February.

Thanks for clearing that up William.

If the VIN and trim tag are real for a 2D assembly time frame, the VIN of this Camaro is over 5000 cars away from the last VIN number on CRG database for February 1969. Shouldn't this be a March 1969 Camaro?

It is amazing the information and data you have collected
William. You are a credit to this hobby.  Is there a way to report this to BaT without posting it on line? If so, maybe BaT would pull the auction???
